Late Daud Khan’s Mausoleum To Be Constructed

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting with the Great Kandahar elders and influential figures vowed to build a mausoleum for the country’s first president, Late Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan, BNA reported.
The agency said in the meeting taken part by Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani, and the Government Minister for the Parliamentary Affairs, Nabi Farahi, the president pledged up to $20,000 from his own and some four hundred thousand from the national budgets to be spent in construction of the mausoleum for the country’s first president and holding scientific seminar for his good services. The president also ordered establishment of commissions to go ahead with the issues, the finalization of which would help the mausoleum to be constructed and scientific seminar to be held for the late Sardar Daud Khan services.
