Kandahar (BNA) Sixteen people have been detained on charges membership in terrorist group in Kandahar province.
The people have been arrested during military operations over the last ten days from different parts of Kandahar province.
Top military commander in south of the country told BNA, the detainees are members of the Taliban group, several heavy and light weapons were also seized from the detainees.
The militants were targeted while terrorist and destructive activities in the province, he said.
