Kabul (BNA) 28 armed Taliban militants were killed in several clearing operations conducted by security forces in some provinces of the country.
According to interior ministry press office to BNA, the operations conducted in the outskirts of Nangrhar, Laghman, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Balkh, Zabul, Urozgan, Khost and Paktia provinces in which 28 militants lost their lives, 48 wounded and 4 others arrested.
A quantity of heavy and light weapons was seized and 23 mines were discovered and defused by security forces.
Likewise, the national police forces discovered and defused 21 mines from relevant areas of Nimrooz, Herat, Kandahar, Maidan-Wardak and Faryab provinces.
