Kabul (BNA) The escalation of terrorist activities in the country made it an urgent need to renew and further improve the programs and strategy on security and pay serous attention for settling certain problems of intelligence and security organs.
BNA military affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes during the last five days Kabul and several provinces were the scene of unprecedented terrorist attacks. The terrorists carrying terrorist and suicide attacks on Kabul, Ghazni, Paktia, Ghor, Kandahar, Farha, Urozgan and other parts of the country have killed a great number of our compatriots including men, women and children. Taliban and IS notorious groups claimed responsibility of those barbaric and inhumane attacks.
What have happened during the last days is coincident with new political development in the region and the country. During the period, quadripartite for starting peace negations held, Kabul hosted the Mayors of countries located along Silk Road and armed oppositions were defeated in battle fields. Therefore, terrorists for showing their existence resort a series of terrorist attacks which led human casualties and heavy destructions. Political elites and military experts terrorist groups carrying the recent attacks have tries to introduce themselves as an effective group in political process on the country in one hand and on other hand became the focus of media.
Somewhat Taliban achieved their evil objectives. They showed the vulnerability and mismanagement among security and intelligence organs of the country to the relevant organs of the country.
But, what will be the consequences of the attacks?
Military experts believe in recent attacks, there are many similarities. The attackers have used the same techniques and the attacks were designed and monitored and launched by the same source. Therefore, the recognition of the perpetrators of these barbaric attacks would be not so difficult for cognizance forces of our country. Therefore the relevant organs should take serious and effective steps toward recognition of the criminals otherwise, our security and intelligence forces and finally the government will lose their credibility among the public.
It is a clear fact that after the recent attacks Taliban achieved their propaganda goals, but in same time the sympathy and support of people from security forces increased. In addition showing sympathy and support of people would be a warning for the state because the people would not forget the heavy casualties among military forces, if the situation continues in this manner, it would be difficult encourage their sons to join security and defense forces of the country, while the honor and independence of the country depend to those forces. Political elites and military experts believe it would be the urgent need of the state to remove the numerous challenges of security and defense forces of the country. First of all military strategy should be renewed, bring reform in security and intelligence organs and appointment should be according to law and profession. Since we know the sensitivities of the situation, then we should establish a precise and practical strategy and go to the war against terrorism, otherwise terrorist attack like recent attacks will increase.
