Japan Pledges $7 m To Afghan Health Sector

Kabul (BNA) Japan will assist $7 milion to Afghanistan to be spent in the health section, an official said.
The agreement was signed on Sunday between Dr. Amanulah Jaihoon, political for Afghan ministry of foreign affairs and Japan ambassador to Kabul.
While signing the agreement, Dr. Amanullah said the assistance will be spent for improvement of health sector in Ghor province where 600,000 residents will benefit.
Acting minister Dr. Suraya Dalil, who also attended the ceremony, said provincial hospital of Ghor province will be reconstructed by the assistance. 
She said the project will be completed in two years in Ghor province. Dr. Dalil appreciated Japan for its assistance to Afghan people particularly in health sector.
Japanese ambassador also spoke in the ceremony and reiterated his country’s further assistance to Afghan people.
