Kabul (BNA) The Council of Ministers’ economic committee held session with Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on the chair to evaluate the progress of the 11 priorities working committee for development of the private sector in Brussels conference, a report from CE office said, adding that the session reviewed the report of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries with respect of 11 priorities of the government for private sector development which will be presented in the Brussels conference and the contracts of establishing Electricity stations and transformers in 80 acres of land for aviculture purposes. Expressing satisfaction over the result of working committees, Minister of Commerce and Industries Abdul Satar Murad said that the 50 percent working process of the committees have been accomplished, adding that Ministries of Education, Finance and Agriculture have not yet prepared their reports, the Minister went on saying that industry section of the ministry has serious problems with the Ministry of Finance, adding that the taxation system and reporting, preparation of the documents, issuing license and lack of overseeing are the main challenges. After hearing the reports and comments of the participants, the Chief Executive tasked the first deputy to solve the issues in close coordination with Ministry of Finance, Commerce and Industries and Economy for further easing the private sector investments in the country. The Chief Executive also tasked the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Afghanistan National Standard Authority to review the issuing license process and submit the report to the economic committee at the earliest.
