SAR-E-PUL CITY (BNA) A civilian lost his life and eight others were wounded following mortar attack in Sar-e-Pul province the other day.
According to BNA local correspondent report, the mortar shell hit in a residential area in Sar-e-Pul city, in which a man lost his life and eight others including a child and a woman were injured.
Noor Aqa Faizai spokesman of police in Sar-e-Pul says, Afghan security forces succeeded to foil several terrorist activities within the last 48 hours in Sar-e-Pul province.
Meanwhile, four Afghan security personnel and 10 civilians were wounded following Taliban attacks in Sar-e-Pul province, Faizai added.
According to another report, four civilians were wounded due to mortar attack in Sancharak district of the province.
