Police Special Forces Ready To Counter Insurgency In Wardak

Kabul (BNA) Afghan Police Special Forces have launched a wide military operation in Wardak to fight off insurgents in the province, BNA reported.
Leading the operation in Wardak is Mohammad Khalid who said that the forces have performed more than 200 night raids. “We will continue our night operations,” Khalid said, adding that they “have all equipment and experiences necessary” to successfully operate.
He added that in 24 hours the forces have combated the insurgents at least three to four times. The men in the Special Forces have been trained for more than two years to endure and counter terrorists. Mohibullah a police special force soldier, who has conducted more than 200 night operations has been injured several times, but despite his injuries has pushed thru to continue to fight insurgency.
