Kabul (BNA) At least five people lost their lives and 27 more were wounded following a suicide attack in eastern Nangarhar province late on Friday.
The suicide attack exploded a vehicle packed with explosive materials close to convey of 01 National Directorate Security personnel in Jalalabad city the provincial capital of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA reporter, two civilians and five Afghan security troops lost their lives and 27 others including six children were injured following the attack.
Meanwhile, doctors in provincial hospital of Nangarhar told that the health condition of eight injured are not satisfactory.
Taliban has taken responsibility of the incident.
Local officials in Nangarhar say, efforts are trying to identify and capture the culprits of the deadly incident.
