NANGARHAR (BNA) Local officials of Nangarhar say that a canal construction completed with a cost of 6.5 million Afghanis with the financial assistance of the Islamic Relief organization in that province.
The provincial head of Nangarhar Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, told BNA that this canal has 286 meters of retaining wall, 4 water control canals and 10 culverts that irrigate 2,100 acres of agricultural land.
It must be said that the project, provided laberer works for 1068 people.
