Kabul (BNA) Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and culture, invited by ECO attended the meeting organized for declaring of the Ghazni city as the cultural center of World Muslims.
Dr. Raheen spoke at this meeting on the history of Ghazni city and the painful and shocking status of the city monuments.
Dr. Husaini minister for culture and Islamic promotion of Iran, Dr. Ayubi head of the cultural sector of ECO, Nouri the ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Zaryali Nawabi advisor for press and public relation of Ministry of Information and Culture, some poets, writers and artists of Afghanistan in Iran also attended the meeting.
Meanwhile the cultural agreement on establishment of cooperation shura of the region was concluded by ministers of information and culture of Afghanistan and culture minister of Iran.
According to another report, Dr. Raheen while Afghan ambassador to Iran was present met with Dr. Ahmadi Nezhad President of Iran and conveyed greetings and good wishes of President Hamid Karzai to him.
At the meeting Dr. Ahmadi Nezhad recalled the deep links existing between the two nations of Afghanistan and Iran and emphasized on the importance of cooperation between the two nations.
