Bakhtar Arts Works To Be Exhibited In Norway

Kabul (BNA) Organizing of the exhibitions for Afghanistan historical assets in the world in addition to introduction of culture and civilization of the country, so far brought in Afs 50 million to the state treasury. 
Omara Khan Masudi head of the Museum said that the exhibitions besides introduction of history to the world are a source of income for the country as well. 
He said that in the past thirty years regrettably Afghanistan is being known as the land of war and violence but displaying of the art works reflect the real face of Afghanistan to the world people as if that this country had its civilizations and glorious past history. 
Masoudi added that in 2005 after the request of the president of France and agreement of Afghanistan’s president the Bakhtar art works and some other parts of the Kabul Museum was displayed at the National Museum of France in Gami and a joint team of specialists of the two countries prepared their art works for the exhibition. 
The team he stressed selected a considerable number of the historical arts of Bakhtar and other arts works for international exhibitions. 
He stressed that in 2005 for the first time according to an agreement between France and Afghanistan these arts were displayed at the Gami Museum which were highly welcomed by the visitors. 
So far these historic relics have been displayed in exhibitions in Italy, Holland, USA, Canada, Germany, England, and Sweden as per separate agreements. 
He added that exhibition of the relics can better introduce the cultural identity of Afghanistan and of which Afs. 150 million incomes have been obtained. 
The exhibitions attracted over 200,000 people in each of those countries. 
He noted that as per the agreement the historic relics have already been delivered to Norway and they will be exhibited on 14 May of 2012 (Saur 25 1391). 
Some other countries have also showed interest in holding exhibition for the Afghan art relics and agreements will be signed in this respect.
