HERAT (BNA): Acting Interior Minister Sarajuddin Haqqani, during his trip to Herat province, met with businessmen, industrialists, influential people, religious scholars, and military officials and listened to their problems and suggestions.
The businessmen during the meeting emphasized that the number of checkpoints in the provincial industrial park should be increased so no one in the major trading estate feels insecure.
They also appealed to the Acting Minister of Interior to simplify the issuance of passports for businesspeople so they would be able to travel to foreign countries on time and find markets for domestic products abroad.
On the other hand, Acting Prime Minister Sarajuddin Haqqani stated that with the end of foreign occupation of Afghanistan, this is a great time for all Afghans to band together and work for the country’s progress and prosperity.
The Acting Interior Minister also assured that he will help to facilitate necessary services for businessmen by providing protection means, licenses, and passports to address the current difficulties.
