KABUL (BNA): Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum met with a Russian investor in his office in Kabul on Saturday.
In the meeting, the two sides talked about investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, they also discussed and exchanged views on the provision of a suitable environment and the overall security of the country to invest in here in Afghanistan, the ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the Russian investor express interest in investing in the country’s mines, mainly the emerald stone.
Minister Delawar welcomed the Russian investor and promised necessary cooperation and providing facilities for the investment of foreign companies.
