Jalalabad (BNA) The construction work of a large bridge kick off in Nangarhar province.
The bridge is being built at a length of 160 meter and width of 5 meters in Khogyani District.
With the construction of this bridge, hundreds of rural families will access the market by public highway with the shortest possible time.
Hamel Zeya acting of public work department of Nangarhar told BNA, the bridge will cost $10 million to be paid by the government.
The residents of Khogyani District welcomed the construction of the bridge.
They say, they had to spend a lot of money for transportation of agricultural products or their illness to district and public highways.
The bridge is to be deposited in the next three months.
