Kabul (BNA) In his series of provincial tours, the president’s special representative on reform and good governance, Ahmad Zia Massoud visited northeastern Kunduz province here the other day, BNA reported.
In the ceremony held on this occasion, a number of the province’s influential, elders and military officials briefed Massoud on current security situation as well as lack of government’s cooperation to the said province. Calling the country’s security forces as the real heroes of Afghanistan, Ahmad Zia Massoud the president’s special representative on reform and good governance added that government is obliged to take fundamental steps for good governance, saying that due to this, he has begun series of provincial tours so that to evaluate the problems and challenges. The president’s special representative added that terrorists showing no mercy on Afghan people and the security forces should do the same on them, asking the people to support their security personnel in order to fully suppress the extremist groupings.
