KABUL (BNA) Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid Acting Minister of Defense of Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation met with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha, on Wednesday.
The Afghan National Defense Ministry says mutual issues of interest between the two countries were discussed while the Qatari Defense Ministry Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah accompanied the meeting.
During the meeting, Mujahid thanked the friendly country Qatar for its assistance to the Afghan people and stressed the continuation of such assistance.
Early, the Afghan National Defense Minister and his accompanying delegation left for Qatar at the official invitation of that country for two days visit on Tuesday.
