Kabul (BNA) In a clash with Afghan security forces continuing for three days 57 armed Taliban killed and 48 others wounded in relevant areas of Bala Murghab district of Badghis province.
Gen. Dawood Shah Wafadar commander of third battalion of national army forces said BNA, the clash occurred after Taliban attacked on the convey of Afghan security forces.
According to him, 57 armed Taliban killed and 48 others wounded including Mullah Besmillah, Mullah Hassan Achekzai, Mullah Zaker, Mawlawi Abdulzahir, Mullah Rauf and Mullah Jalil local commanders of armed Taliban in the clash.
Also 32 Kalashnikovs seized, 22 mines discovered and defused and a number of motorcycles and vehicles destroyed.
Gen. added, in the incident five national army soldiers martyred and 15 others wounded.
