Senate Commissions Hold Sessions

Kabul (BNA) The commissions of senate held sessions yesterday press office of senate said.
According to the press office, the commission for environment with Ahmad Bashir Samim on the chair discussed the letter of the attorney general with regard to illegal extraction of precious stones from Marwarid Mountain in Deh Sabz district by former senator Hajji Janat Gul, deputy to mines ministry and it was decided to summon Janat Gul along with Kabul police chief for explanation.
The commission for defense in its session discussed the artillery shelling by Pakistan on eastern borders and besides condemning the action, it announced its support to the people of Kunar.
The commission also expressed concern over insiders attack on the international forces and it was decided to summon intelligence officials with defense and interior ministers for explanation.
The commission for legislature with Hafiz Abdul Qayum on the chair discussed on establishing diplomatic relations with Dominican Republic and protocol between Turkey Afghanistan on providing education to security personnel and necessary decisions have been taken.
