Kabul (BNA) 18 armed Taliban were killed in a clash with the Afghan forces in Kandahar province.
This clash occurred last midnight while a group of armed Taliban attacked on several security posts in Registan district.
Jawed Faisal Spokesman of Kandahar governor in telephonic contact with BNA confirmed the death of 18 armed Taliban in this clash.
Meanwhile reports say, a number of Pakistani fighter and two local commanders of Taliban included among the killed rebels. But Faisal said, investigations have been started for indentifying of the killed Taliban.
There is no report regarding the casualty of Afghan forces in this clash.
