Kabul (BNA) Ahmad Zia Masoud, Special Envoy of President on Reforms and Good Governance said yesterday that human resources are a pre-requisite for the country’s economic development. Addressing a conference of the Central Statistics Office (CSO), Special Envoy of President emphasized for formation of statistic educational center to train and educate professional cadres in the entity.
Speaking at the conference, head of the CSO counting his office achievements, adding that amendment in the law of the central statistic, inauguration of the body’s central office, computerizing the offices and establishing date base and construction of administrative statistic departments in Badakhshan, Wardak and Kapisa provinces. He also added that publication of quarterly magazine of the CSO and reviewing statistics questions are also the achievements of the entity to improve the capacity building and professionalism of its employees. A commission with the participation of central statistics, ministries for finance and commerce, central bank and chamber of commerce and industries has been formed to work on national development strategy, the official added.
