Kabul (BNA) While meeting with the British ambassador Richard Staig to Kabul, Marshal Mohammad Qasim Fahim Acting president said that Afghanistan is confronting difficult days but we are sure that we will overcome our problems.
He added that the government of Afghanistan has undertaken appropriate preparations for holding of the election and peaceful transition of power and we are supporting them.
The British ambassador at this meeting said that he is in contact with the foundations organizing election and he is certain that they are carrying their work in good manners.
He stressed that signing of the security pact is important for the present and future of Afghanistan and continued cooperation of our allies with Afghanistan.
He noted that the peace process in Afghanistan should accelerate and we will cooperate with the people of Afghanistan in this respect.
