Herat (BNA) Eight Taliban rebels were killed and wounded in a conflict by security troops in Shindand District, Herat province last night.
Jelani Farhad spokesman for Herat governor told BNA, the militants while planting mines and carrying out terrorist attacks in the mentioned district targeted by security forces which caused killing of three and injuring of five others.
In the event, three mines were also neutralized by security forces.
It is said that no harm and losses sustained to security forces and civilians in the clashes.
