Jalalabad City (BNA) A religious scholar shot dead by Taliban terrorist group in eastern Nangarhar province late Monday.
The militants shooting Qari Hijratullah who worked as teacher in a Maddrasa and Imam of a mosque in Nangarhar province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman of Nangarhar governor told BNA correspondent, the attackers those who riding motorcycle succeeded to flee from the area and security forces started searching to identify and capture them as soon.
The incident condemned by residents and religious scholars of Nangarhar province.
Meanwhile, Gulab Mangul governor of Nangarhar asked from security personnel to identify the culprits of the terror action and bring them to the court for further judgment.
