KABUL(BNA) Roya Mahboob, the co-founder of girls’ robotics team in Afghanistan, won the Qatar International Association Award.
He received his award from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, at a ceremony in Doha today.
Roya Mahboob won the award this year for her efforts to grow girls’ robotics in Afghanistan.
According to BNA reports, this award is given to the best in all fields every year.
In recent years, the Afghan Robotics Group has attracted worldwide attention by presenting new designs in international competitions and exhibitions.
