Kabul (BNA) Deputy Information and Culture for Publication Affairs, Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi, and head of the Oversight Commission for Access to Information, Sayed Ikram Afzali met with the head of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GTZ)-Open Policy Advisory Fund project (OPAF), asking for continuation of cooperation with the commission, BNA reported the other day.
In the meeting, Mostafavi shared her suggestions and opinions about the commission’s support and cooperation with the Commission on Access to Information in the capital and provinces, and launching training and capacity building programs for the government representatives. Easing access to information by the government administrations, strengthening the structure of the commission on access to information in Kabul, and providing it with financial and technical support were among the issues discussed in the meeting, the agency added. Sayed Ikram Afzali, head of the commission on access to information asked for technical and advisory cooperation with the commission, according to the agency. Meanwhile, head of the GIZ-OPAF and Mohammad Hashem, the program advisor spoke about the related issues and assured of their cooperation in these fields.
