Five Insurgents Killed

Kabul (BNA) As a result of cleaning operations in Ghazni and Maidan-Wardak provinces launched by security forces five armed Taliban were killed and two others injured.
The operations titled Nejat (rescue) launched by 203 Tander corps in Ghazni and Maidan-Wardak provinces yesterday.
Qand Agha an official of the contingent told BNA, these operations were launched in Moqar, Qarabagh, and Gari districts, Ghazni province and Saidabad district of Maidan-Wardak province by National Army, National Police and National Security, so far five insurgents were killed, two others injured.
The source added, in these operations a Kalashnikov, a rocket launcher, two communication means, some ammunitions and a motorcycle were seized.
According to him there were no any casualties and destruction among security forces and civilians.
According to Qand Agha the operations will continue up to complete elimination of the terrorist from the area.
