Pul-e-Khumri City (BNA) Campaign of anti-polio vaccination program has started in northern Baghlan province yesterday.
It is supposed that about 300,000 children to be received drops of anti-polio vaccine and 200,000 children over 6 months would be received vitamin A capsules in this round.
Abdul Hai Nemati governor of Baghlan in beginning ceremony of the program said implementing polio vaccination necessary for children, parents are responsible to seriously pay attention in this regard.
Dr. Muhibullah Habib head of public health department speaking about importance of breast-milk and polio eradication said, first round of autumn polio campaign has started in center and all districts of the province.
Head of public health department demanded from armed oppositions to allow implementing of polio vaccination in the areas that controlling by them.
