Qalat (BNA) A man allegedly responsible for deadly attacks on civilians in Zabul has been shot dead by army troops.
Mullah Habib was responsible for Taliban guerrilla attacks in Shah Joi District, Zabul.
He was shot dead by security forces yesterday evening in the village of Chinou, Shah Joi District.
Atal Army Corps media office with releasing a statement said, Mullah Habib was the main perpetrator of landmines, bombings and attacks on convoys carrying passengers in Shah Joi, District Zabul, which a number of civilians were mayrtyred or wounded.
Mullah Habib's car and his weapons fell into the hands of the military.
