Trenkot (BNA) Colonel Gulab Khan acting police chief of Urozgan province was killed in an armed attack by his bodyguard last night.
Gul Agha head of first precinct police of Trenkot city said BNA, the incident occurred while his bodyguard shooting Gulab Khan acting police chief of the province during visiting security posts in Sarkhom region.
According to him, his bodyguard has been arrested and confessed to his crime.
It is said that previously, Matiullah Khan former police chief of Urozgan was also killed by unknown gunmen in Kabul.
