Nowshera (Pak): Twelve killed in Jalozai Camp blast

NOWSHERA: At least twelve people including women and children have been killed while several others have been injured in a blast that occurred at the Jalozai Camp ,Pakistan  on Thursday.

 

The blast took place near the Muhajir Camp and according to police the bomb was planted in a car. The bomb disposal squad said 35 kilograms of explosives were used.

 

Fuad Khan, police official responsible for security of the camp, said: "The bomb exploded in a car parked near the administration office where refugees had lined up to get ration and new arrivals were being registered."

 

Jalozai, an enormous camp that once hosted Afghan refugees, now houses Pakistani tribesmen fleeing unrest in the Khyber, Bajaur and Mohmand tribal districts.
