Jalalabad (BNA) Hundreds acres of agricultural lands and several houses have been demolished due to flash floods in Kozkunar District, Nangarhar province.
According to reports, extreme rainfall started on Sunday till now over parts of Nangarhar province especially in Kozkunar District and the rains eventually turned into floods.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, 500 Jiribs of agricultural land and 8 houses were destroyed in the floods.
He added, assistance has begun to flood affected families in the mentioned district.
Meanwhile, rains has continued in parts of Nangarhar province.
