Mahtarlam City (BNA) In the continuation of a military operation dozens rebels were killed and several villages have been cleared from existence of anti-government militias in eastern Laghman province.
The operation has started last week by participation of hundreds Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police personnel in relevant areas of Alishing-Dawlat Shah highway.
Press office of Sylab army corps by releasing a statement issued that, several villages have been cleared from being of armed oppositions in Alishing-Dawlat Shah highway.
Recently, 8 terrorists were killed and six more were wounded during the operation, the statement added.
Also within the last 3 days of the military operation more than 50 militants have been killed and wounded and dozens villages clean-up from existence of terrorists.
The military operation will be continued till the highway completely cleared from being of insurgents.
