House of People Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) The House of People in its session presided by chairman Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi yesterday discussed a series of issues.
In the session, the House also criticized the government for failing to implement development projects in the current year.
The House, according to the public relation office, the lawmakers also noted that the government has failed to allocate budget for the construction of Kabul-Herat highway though Ghor province which the shortest to connect Kabul to the western provinces, saying that is why the people of people of Lal-o-Sarjangle district had staged demonstration and demanded early construction of the highway.
The House also called on the legislators from the southern provinces to facilitate administration of anti-polio doze to their areas.
They also called on the prayers leaders, chieftains and media outlets to encourage people give the anti-polio doze for the children under five.
Some of the lawmakers expressed concern over increasing criminal activities including theft and murder in Kabul city, the expulsion of Afghan refugees from Australia while some legislators described the relations between the government and national assembly as disorder and demanding preparation a manual to review the relations between the parliament and government.
