Kabul (BNA) A senior commander of Taliban rebels were arrested by police with his nine colleagues in the outskirts of Shandand district of Herat province.
According to interior ministry press office, Abdullah Akhond a senior commander of Taliban in Shandand who want to launch destructive terrorist attack in the outskirts of that district, was arrested by Special Forces of public order police.
It is said that 14 Kalashnikovs, 2 vehicles, 2 motorcycles and huge quantity of explosive materials were seized by these forces.
