President Ghani Heads For Uzbekistan To Attend Karimov’s Funeral

Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ashraf Ghani president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan left Kabul for Samarkand city to participate in funeral ceremony of late Islam Karimov the President of Uzbekistan this morning.
According to presidential press office to BNA, it is supposed that the funeral ceremony of late Karimov will be attended by a number of heads-of-state and high ranking government officials from region and world in Samarkand city.
President Ghani in addition to participating in funeral ceremony also delivers condolence behalf of the Afghan people and government to the Uzbek people and government.
Islam Karimov the president of Uzbekistan died at the age of 78 due to stroke in a hospital of Tashkent city.
