Afghans Call International Community to Bring to Justice the Plunderers

KABUL (BNA) Afghans call on the international community to help bring justice to those who plundered Afghanistan and now live peacefully and even in safety outside the country.

BNA Analyst: The Wall Street Journal recently published a report revealing the glamorous investments and lives of a number of former Afghan government officials who have plundered their royal lives and public property by stealing from the treasury. They have millions of dollars, while the people of their country do not have the least facilities to survive.

Although the Wall Street Journal report is incomplete and limited, and only a handful of officials in the former government are mentioned in the report, it can still be a good example and the beginning of a revelation and exposure of government officials. May their government be named the most corrupt government during its rule, and its leader is among the most corrupt leaders in the world.

The fact is that the West and the United States, with twenty years of domination in Afghanistan, have promoted looting and embezzlement, bribery and betrayal as a habit among the former regime’s high-ranking officials, and even stealing money from high-ranking government officials. Its leaders became a habit.

Imaginary soldiers, school and teacher, agent and administration. It was an ugly strategy used by the officials of the previous administration to receive money and empty the treasury.

In this anti-Afghan case, not only those covered by the Wall Street Journal were included, the issue is bigger and bigger. It is safe to say that all high-ranking officials in the previous regime were complicit in looting the treasury. major sources of revenue and big contracts were shared among the senior leaders in the corrupt government of the past.

We can honestly say that almost all the high-ranking officials of the previous administration were corrupt, among these thieves are figures who had nothing from their father, their father was either an ordinary cleric, a high-ranking military officer, or even a mobster, except for new days, these men own several repairs in just one alley in Kabul, gardens, and orchards around Kabul or their hometown, and own high-rise buildings or lucrative businesses outside Afghanistan.

Now that the Wall Street Journal has stepped in and uncovered the thefts of former officials, the people of Afghanistan and the world know in which country and what a blessing these plunderers live, the countries that host these corrupters are countries that they always shout for human rights, justice and democracy, now it’s time for this country to raise their voice to bring these corrupt politicians to justices.

The countries that have supported and are hosting these thieves now should know that in the eyes of the Afghan people, they are among those who are thieves if they do not act against these political secrets and do not facilitate the reckoning of the Afghan people with them.

The people of Afghanistan, apart from political game, hope that these looters should be held accountable.
