Kabul (BNA) Celebration of Ashuray-e-Hussaini is the celebration of victory of right over wrong and rehabilitation of promotion of virtue as well prevention of vice.
The event of Karbala is the calendar of time and an enormous humanity incident that history reminds us forever. Muharram is not merely few words; it’s not only the month of mourning, but the month of learning lessons of bravery, devotion, sacrifice of Abdullah-al-Hussain who had preferred a dignified death to live in captivity. The month of Muharramul Haram enjoys particular importance. The eternality of Ashura movement and commemoration of Imam Hussain is the gift of Allah the Almighty. The message of Muharram is coexistence, law and order, justice, mobilization of people’s quality and quantity which are base and cornerstone of Ashuray-e-Hussaini.
The message of Ashura must be reread. The victims of Karbala epic joined the eternal life in Medina, Hejjaz, Kufa and Sham but led the ship of Islam to the salvation beach and drew freedom, devotion and being liberated with their red blood in the pages of mankind history. They founded such a school that everybody may learn lesson and knowledge that never bow before tyranny and oppression. As Imam Hussain has said if you have not religion, at least be free. We need to find how to rescue ourselves from the punishment and anger of Allah. In this respect no one could be found better than the Great Prophet and His family members and close relatives who could release the nation from the fire of hell. The ways have been deadlocked and the people have been facing confusion what to do, they need the light of instruction.
Islam is the unique and only religion that manages to rescue the nation from the quagmire of annihilation and led them to the summit of salvation. We should learn from the biggest leader of Muslims that Allah the Almighty has made him the instructor and mentor of people. Today, we need Ashura and Muharram more than other times. The all aspects of Imam Hussain life, the magnificence of inspiration and the mystery of victory of this uprising will lead us to gain victory in this and the next world. Ashura has paved the way of monotheism and love of religion and anti-oppression in the history of the Muslim nation.
This uprising was the manifestation of light victory over ignorance and darkness and undoubtedly in the history of mankind it is one of the eternal movements that beside its emotional aspect and dimension, it has been tied with profound Islamic humanitarian, ethical and social content and has become the example and vanguard of the world freedom of fighters.
The glorious celebration of this day belongs to all Muslims, freedom fighters and advocates of social justice across the globe, so to be inspired as an example and an historical movement and try to give real shape to ideas and thoughts of Imam Hussain. Particularly our countrymen and women reasonably follow the bravery and devotion of Karbala martyrs.
