Agha Khan Foundation to Launch 3 Development Projects In 3 Districts of Baghlan

BAGHLAN (BNA) The Aga Khan Development Foundation Office said on Saturday the department will launch three development projects in three districts of the province.

Head of the Agha Khan Foundation’s engineering Engineer department in Baghlan Ahmad Javad Nazari told BNA “The projects were funded by the Foundation at a cost of more than 285,000 USD and implemented in Doshi, Dahna Ghori, and Pul-e-Khumri districts of the provincial capital.

He said the projects include the construction of a concrete bridge in Talkhaan village of Doshi district, the construction of a metal sidewalk overpass in the Afsutaar part of ​​Pul-e-Khumri city by digging drinking water wells, and installing a solarium in Sayed Abad village of Dahna Ghori district.

The director of Baghlan Rural Rehabilitation and Development Mawlawi Abdul Waheed Obaida highlighted the importance of these projects and thanked the officials of the Aga Khan Foundation in Baghlan, and he promised to cooperate with the foundation to implement these projects.

The projects, which are about to implement within a year, in addition to providing job opportunities, the necessary facilities will be provided for the residents of these three districts. Added Nazari head Agha Khan foundation.
