Presidential Advisor Visits Badakhshan

Kabul (BNA) Presidential advisor Wais Barmak at the head of a six-member delegation paid a visit to Badakhshan and met provincial officials including the governor in Faizabad yesterday.
In address to local officials, Barmak said that fighting corruption and bringing reforms has to be commenced from top to bottom in the government departments of provinces.
Speaking in the meeting, acting provincial governor Shah Waliullah Adeeb said that so far officials in five districts had been appointed in line with the reforms. Adeeb also added that 18 district headquarters don’t have buildings and the staffs are running the affairs in rented houses and shops.
