Aids Distribution Process Starts in Jawzjan

SHEBERGHAN (BNA) The process of distributing aid from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to 6,000 needy families began in Jawzjan today.
Mawlawi Sharfuddin Muslim, Deputy Minister of State Disaster Management, during a visit to Faizabad district of Jawzjan, said that Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan Has provided humanitarian aid to families affected by the drought in the provincial capital and districts of the province.
According to him, the aid, which includes flour, biscuits, mung bean, chocolate and liquefied petroleum gas, will be distributed to deserving families.
According to another report, the World Food program (WFP) in collaboration with Shelter for life international, distributed food to 1,300 needy families in Kalafgan district of Takhar province.
