Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met at the presidential palace with former chairman and members of the Independent Election Commission (IEC). At the meeting Fazal Ahmad Manawi, Hussaini Pasha, Sayed Mohammad Hashim Folad, Reeda Azimi, Ghulam Dastagir Azad and Momena Yari chairman and members of the IEC were present; President Karzai praised their performances during their duties in independent election commission.
He told them that successful completion of your duties and delivering it to the new members of the IEC is in accord with the laws of the country and it has an effective role in stability and consolidation of order in Afghanistan.
The IEC chairman and members expressed their satisfaction over the popular order based on laws of Afghanistan and added that they are committed towards the order in Afghanistan and they are prepared for performing tasks at any parts of the country.
