Kabul (BNA) A meeting held at Behzad Art Gallery Hall to address Journalists’ problems and journalists safety and security joint committee’s activity method, BNA reported on Sunday.
Attended by a joint delegation of the ministry for information and culture, local organs independent administration, national Security Council, journalists’ federation and a number of media in-charges, the meeting stressed on coordination between the media staff and supporting journalists.
Lauding the mentioned committee’s achievements in Herat Province, deputy minister of information and culture on publications Sayed Aqa Sancharaki called establishing journalists’ supporting fund one of the committee’s achievements, the agency added.
Herat information and culture department head, Aria Raufian called the committee’s role important in addressing media staff problems.
Deputy to Herat governor office and head of the committee, Monesa Hasanzada said we have addressed tens of journalists’ complaints in Herat during thirteen sessions, BNA went on to say.
Journalists’ national union in-charge Fahim Dashti called safety and security committee the only entity to address the media problems.
