President Ghani Chairs Cabinet Meeting

Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani chaired a meeting of the cabinet ministers, in which the participants shared their reports and information and needed decisions were taken. According to BNA report, the meeting which was held at Chahar Chenar Palace, discussed the issue of Jam Minaret and instructed the Ministry of Information and Culture to schedule a trip to Ghor province, in coordination with the ministries of defense and interior affairs. The meeting also said representatives from the Operative and Supportive National Development Administration should be included in the delegation composition. Other issues related to various agenda have also been discussed in the meeting which approved the water law in principle, after the ministry of justice offered.
Meanwhile, the acting minister of information and culture presented the issue of displaying the country’s historical heritages at the Asian Civilization Exhibitions, which was demanded by the Chinese People Cultural Heritages Administration, exhibition of Afghanistan Treasuries of Works at the Xinhua Art University and brining change in the place of the said heritages from museum to another in China, which was principally approved by the participants. The Cabinet Meeting also approved in principle the draft plan presented by the Central Bank; Da Afghanistan Bank on the provision of technical cooperation, offering ICT services relating to the installation, preparation, privatization, training and supporting the implementation of GOAML programs of the United Nations in Da Afghanistan Bank between the intelligence unit of the bank and the United National Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
