Afghan National Cricket Team Returns Home

Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan national cricket team returned the country after winning the championship of 20 hours competitions held in Nepal. 
After defeating Hong Kong team in the final, the team got the championship. 
Afghanistan national cricket players on Tuesday morning arrived in the Kabul international Airport and were warmed received by deputy cricket board Shahzada Masoud, officials of national Olympic committee, cricket board, a number of parliamentarians and Afghan people. 
General director for Afghan national Olympic committee while considering the sports as ambassador of peace asked the government set up high sports council for further improvement of sports in the country. 
He also asked the people and national traders to support and encourage the Afghan players. 
During the competitions, the Afghan national cricket team defeated Bhutan, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman and Maldives and finally defeated the Hong Kong national team in the final and won the championship.
