KABUL (BNA) Chaired by Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, the Economic Commission meeting held at Arg.
The economic commission meeting stressed on the acceleration of remaining works of Kamal Khan and Bakhshabad dams in the Provinces of Farah and Nimroz.
The relevant ministries and departments should accelerate their work after the approval of the budget, the commission underlined.
In this meeting, the Ministries of Economic and Finance has been tasked to work together for the operations more revenue sources.
All the ministries and government departments asked to develop their policies and share them with economic commission in order to strengthen the income sources.
The Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority, tasked by the commission to monitor well the prevention of illegal and low-quality food to the country.
Based on the tasked, all food and drug companies and traders were obliged to bring all their imports in line with the principles of the Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority within a period of one and a half months.
According to a statement, the economic commission meeting also discussed supplying electricity to Qush Tape and Darzab districts of Jawzjan province and important decisions has been made.
