First VP’s Message On Turkish Coup Attempt

Kabul (BNA) The country’s First Vice-President, General Dostum sent a message to the President of Turkey and expressed regret over an attempted coup that led to the killing of dozens of people including military personnel, the BNA reported on Sunday.
The message was sent to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoðan, by Gen. Dostum who said representing him and his led party National Islamic Movement of Afghanistan (NIMA), his party supporters and all those with common culture, the BNA reported.
The message said, “We, the Afghans who are badly victimized by terror expressed our condolence to you, President Erdogan and all the people of Turkey over what had been happened the most tragic in the friendly country,” the agency reported.
May the soul of all those killed in the event lay in peace and great patient to the bereaved families, the message added.  “As you stood against any types of terror in your country, those fled deadly wars in their countries are now standing alongside you, for what you have done much for strengthening worldwide Muslims’ morale,” the message said as quoted by the agency.
“We are with you and would stay alongside you,” the message reassured quoting the country’s first vice-president.
