An Earthquake Shook Northeast of Afghanistan Early Monday


BADKHSHAN (BNA) An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 shook parts of northeastern Afghanistan, early Monday.

The epicenter of the earthquake located in the southwest of Ishkashim District of Badakhshan.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of one hundred and five kilometers from the ground, and there are no reports of possible casualties or damages.

According to reports, this earthquake shook parts of Badakhshan, Takhar, Kunduz, and Baghlan, and parts of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Pakistan.

The earthquake occurs a few days after the deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria; an incident that killed tens of thousands of people and destroyed thousands of houses.
