Maimana (BNA) dozens of armed Taliban were killed and tens of them were injured in recent clashes in Faryab province.
The clashes occurred in the past 24 hours in different parts of Khwaja Sabzposh, Qaisar, Almar, Doulatabad and Ghormach districts.
General Syeed Aqa Andarabi police official of the province told BNA, in the clashes, 32 armed Taliban were killed and 56 others were wounded.
He also confirmed killing of an apprise people who fight against Taliban in the battle.
It is mentionable that in the end of the conflicts, the security forces seized dozens of weapons and also cleared several regions from being of Taliban.
