HERAT (BNA) The Afghanistan National Standard Authority (ANSA) has sent back four tankers loaded with liquefied gas to Uzbekistan, after assessing them as low-quality, a statement from the administration said the other day.
“At least 4 low-quality gas tankers had been stopped at the Aqina part of the country’s northern province of Faryab and returned to Uzbekistan for being low-quality,” said the statement.
The National Standard Authority (ANSA) has recently taken necessary steps to prevent the import of low-quality oil and gas into the country.
Meanwhile, ANSA’s officials said no one would be allowed to import low-quality oil into the country and asked all national businessmen to import quality goods or they will be dealt with by the law, according to the statement.
